Job Title:

Regular Commissioned Officer (PMA Long Course 155)

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:
- Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent:
  - Minimum 55% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent.
  - Candidates with 60% or higher in BA/BSc/BBA/BPA and 50% marks in FA/FSc are also eligible.
- Graduates with 2 years of graduation (FA/FSc or equivalent) and serving personnel of Pakistan Navy/Pakistan Air Force.
- Graduates with a 4-year graduation program (BS/BA (Hons), BBA, BPA).
- Serving Army Soldiers with 50% marks in FA/FSc.
Age Limits (as of May 01, 2025):
- Intermediate or equivalent: 17-22 years (Relaxable by 3 months for upper and lower age limits).
- Graduates (2-year program) and serving Pakistan Navy/Air Force personnel: 17-23 years (Relaxable by 3 months).
- Graduates (4-year program): 17-24 years.
- Serving Army Soldiers: 17-25 years.
Verification of Marks:
- Candidates must present certificates verified by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) for equivalency.
- ‘A’ level students must have an aggregate of 55% without equivalence certificates, but those with less than three C’s need to provide equivalence certificates.

Ineligibility Conditions:

Tempering with academic certificates.
Twice rejected by the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB).
Failed the Initial Tests (intelligence/academic) thrice.
Within 120 days of a previous appearance in ISSB (without a waiver).
Dismissed from any government service, including armed forces.
Conviction for heinous offenses.
Permanently declared unfit by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
Declared unfit due to hepatitis B or C.
Positive drug test.

Instruction for Applicants

TCC (Technical Cadet Course) candidates applying for the PMA Long Course will also be considered as repeater candidates.
Any candidate applying for PMA L/C for the first time will be considered a fresh candidate.
Repeater candidates must report to the concerned AS&RC for the preliminary test from 28 October 2024 to 7 November 2024.

Interview by the preliminary selection board headed by the Selection and Recruitment Officer (SR&O)

Physical Tests

1.6 Km Run: 8 minutes
Push-Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
Crunches: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
Pull-Ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
Ditch Crossing: 7’4” x 7’4” and 4’ deep

All events listed above must be passed; failure to do so will result in disqualification from receiving the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) form.

Interview

Candidates who pass the written, medical, and physical tests will be interviewed by SR&Os (Selection and Recruitment Officers) and psychologists. Candidates are required to write a 10-line essay in English and Urdu. The essay topic will be reflected on the board in the exam hall. Candidates will receive marks out of 20, and anyone scoring less than 12 marks will be considered to have failed and will not proceed to the ISSB. Key aspects evaluated in the interview include:

Expression and confidence in English and Urdu
Knowledge of current affairs
Knowledge of Pakistan’s geography and studies

Extracurricular activities like sports and hobbies
